This is it. This is the last chance for The Wire to get some Emmy love. The show has received tremendous praise and some amazing hardware, including the Peabody. EW gave the five seasons 4 A+ and an A!!! That's right, fool, 4 A+. The fourth season has a cumulative grade of 98 on metacritic, by far the highest ever. That same season was called the best season of any TV show by EW! As far as the Emmy's, the show has received how many nominations? Guess? 1. That's right. ONE FUCKING NOMINATION! Well, I guess we will see what happens on July 17.
Hope you had an awesome Free Lunch Wednesday!
